I get to guard my heart… what a privilege
Regardless of how tired my physical body feels because it’s 11:30 at night I want to share with you how thankful I am for the ability to guard my heart in hopes that my mere words can ignite this same thankfulness in you. Some of you are well acquainted with this Scripture, but let me throw it out there just for a little refresher:
Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life (or out of it flows the issues of life)
We can be in prayer for our leaders and our prayers are not hindered by human boundaries…
“I have been many times upon my knees by the overwhelming conviction that I had nowhere else to go.” Abraham Lincoln on prayer
There’s a part of me that is anxious to get this blog up and posted rather quickly in light of the current affairs. This is in no way, shape, or form an entry with a hidden agenda seeking to share my political views or reveal who I voted for. I simply will not share it. Sorry for leaving you in the dark. I do, for one moment, want to give you a little something to perhaps distract you from either the GOOD news or BAD news depending on who you voted for! Heck, hopefully you’ll find this entry encouraging.
